Thúng chai abandoned on a beach – Vietnam

Below, a photo of a defunct and abandoned traditional Vietnamese fishing boat, called Thúng chai, or, coracle. These bowl-shaped boats are woven out of split bamboo or reeds and used, often in conjunction with a larger fishing boat, to navigate shallow water, check nets, and transport the days catch back to the beach. Here’s a photo from last year of a photo of two Thung chai in the bay with people in them.
