A lighthouse on a rocky hill – Kefaloinia, Greece

This lighthouse is out on a somewhat desolate, very rocky point called Gero Gombos on the island of Kefalonia in the Ionian Sea. The last time I was here was the weather was very odd and tumultuous, here’s a photo I took then of a twister dropping into the sea beyond dark clouds.

Another reminder that history was made in some pretty barren places in the world. I must remember to crush up some oyster shells to put around my fig trees when I plant them out
