Agalychnis moreletii on white wall… Mexico
July 18, 2012
This morning I happened on this fairly large green frog sitting on my green t-shirt, it jumped across the room and I snapped a few photos. The room is completely white which resulted in some very interesting photographs… this bright frog plastered onto a white void.
In this first photo the frog is sitting on a flat surface facing the wall. In the second two photos the frog is on the wall.
Thanks to a comment submitted by reader Simon Woodard (my brother), I now know that this is Morelet’s Tree Frog, Agalychnis moreletii.

I love all of these! I chase frogs around the house as well, but usually I have a pencil and piece of paper and sketch them! Z
Maybe a Morelet’s tree frog? Just an intuitive guess…
By the way, I like how you utilized the customs image.

Why thank you Simon, indeed, I believe your intuition may have been correct. Morelet’s tree frog, aka. Agalychnis moreletii… I’ll update the post.
